100 x ART IN THE AKERK

Der Aa-kerk
15 September 2022 to 18 September 2022

About this activity.

What are Groningen artists currently working on? Come and see it in the exhibition from 15 to 18 September in the Akerk. No fewer than a hundred visual artists, designers and illustrators from the municipality of Groningen will present their work in this extensive exhibition. Entrance is free.

All hundred participants submit one work from their oeuvre for the exhibition; a work of art as a business card. Both starting professional artists and more established names are part of the selection. The exhibition consists of a diverse mix of artworks: paintings, objects, performance art, drawings, photography and video art.

Artist support

100 x ART IN THE AKERK is the result of the project Lucht 2.0. With this project, Kunstpunt Groningen wants to support artists again in their professional practice, on behalf of the municipality of Groningen (following the project 'Air' in 2021), made possible by the corona funds from the government.
