In this video series we take you to the top 3 of the Kunst op Straatprijs (Prize for Art in Public Space) 2021. This year’s theme was ‘the meeting’. You could vote for your favorite artwork. With 21% of the votes, the winner is Jon Gardella's De Bron.

Residents and shoppers in Haren know it well, the bronze fountain. It has been on the Raadhuisplein since 1997. In the oval water source you see a wave that spirals up and merges with the figures at the top. The monumental sculptures by artist Jon Gardella adorn parks and cities throughout the Netherlands.

Did you know that there are almost 600 works of art on the street in the municipality of Groningen? You see them in parks, on facades and on squares. During the Kunst op Straatweeks we put them in the spotlight.
