Last year's graduate artist Lourens Stuurman creates paintings that focus on cities and architecture. In the first year after art school, he discovered a new painting style; whereas he used to work meticulously, Lourens now paints more loosely. From April 19th to June 1st, he presents his first solo exhibition at the Art Rental of Kunstpunt Groningen. We visited Lourens in his studio where he talks more about his work.
