Indira de Boer starts The Wall #9 at Kunstpunt

From 12 October, artist Indira de Boer will be working on The Wall #9, Kunstpunt’s research programme in which artists experiment with creating large-scale artworks. On Kunstpunt’s impressive interior wall of nearly 200 m², she will have the opportunity to explore new ideas, test materials, and further develop her artistic practice.

For The Wall #9, De Boer investigates how architecture, scale, and space can evoke feelings of memory, absence, and transformation. Through an installation of wooden elements, she explores how a space can become more than just a physical location. How can materials carry meaning? And how can a space trigger memories or emotions?

Follow the process

From 12 October to 21 November, Indira de Boer will be developing her installation at Kunstpunt. Visitors are invited to follow the creative process up close, see the artist at work, and discover how the project evolves step by step.

The final installation will be on view until 5 December.
