Gronings Licht

MOW
5 February 2023 to 10 September 2023

About this activity.

In the various open landscapes of Groningen, the sky plays a leading role, always different, always present. There is something in the air!

Groningen skies are breathtaking, with clouds that blow wildly away above the north, stretch endlessly over the Oldambt or gently touch the ancient landscape of the west or the enchanting Westerwolde.

Multimedial

The emphatic presence of the sky makes the experience of the Groningen countryside always different in terms of light, color and atmosphere. In Gronings Licht 24 artists share their impressions of this interplay. Paintings, installations, graphics, photos and moving images take you as a visitor in a surprising way into the multitude of moods that the Groningen countryside has to offer.
