Artist Sanne Boswijk plays with ideas in visual form. She works with a wide range of materials — from paint and glass to photography, tape, and LED light — creating brightly illuminated compositions full of humor, yet with a serious undertone. Her work balances between the familiar and the elusive.

Together with Danne Bouman, Sanne presents her work in the duo exhibition BEELDRIJM. The exhibition is on view from 20 November to 8 January in the Kunstuitleen at Kunstpunt Groningen. We visited Sanne in her studio.
