What happens to an unfinished painting? Or to a canvas that is rejected during the creative process? For artist Harry Markusse, these remnants are often the starting point of something new.

In the solo exhibition Re-used, on view at Kunstpunt from 1 October to 7 November 2026, Markusse shows how materials from earlier works are given a second life in new compositions.

We visited Harry in his studio to learn more about his practice and the ideas behind his work.
