Lucht 2021

The corona measures have hit the art sector enormously. Exhibitions and art grants have been canceled or postponed. It was an uncertain time for many artists. With the Lucht project, Kunstpunt and the municipality of Groningen wanted to support artists and designers from Groningen. 87 Groningen artists have received a stipend as part of this project with which they have made new work. For example, the contribution has enabled them to purchase new material or to further develop projects.

With a billboard exhibition from September 27 to October 17, 2021, we presented the new work of the participating artist in the public space of Groningen so that it was visible to everyone. In addition to art, the posters also featured a QR code. Those who scanned the code found more information about the artist and the work online. All artists and designers with their projects can be found in this online publication.
