Sarah Pannekoek is an illustrator, comic artist, and animator. She holds a BA in Illustration & Animation from Academie Minerva in Groningen and an MA in Animation from St. Joost School of Art & Design in ’s-Hertogenbosch. Her work blends illustration, animation, and comics in a fluid and distinctive style. Her graduation film Lost Eye was screened at film festivals around the world. In 2024, her wordless graphic novel debut Josefien and the Washing Machinewas published by Oogachtend. Her work is characterized by a playful tone, dynamic movement, and a love for detail and analog materials. In addition to her artistic practice, she teaches animation and illustration at Academie Minerva, where she enjoys experimenting with materials and co-creating unique stories with students.
