Painter Ruud Venekamp is not concerned with depicting the reality that surrounds us, but his work is nonetheless rooted in nature.
His paintings are difficult to capture in words and are closer to a more abstract art form, like music.
Increasingly, he paints without a preconceived design, creating—through careful deliberation—a new, as yet unknown image with its own universal meaning.
