Lotte Masker (1993) is an Groningen based illustrator, graduated in 2018. She usually draws on the spot and works with pins and pens. Her drawings can be silly banal things or quite abstract. 

She also makes murals under the name of VAAF, together with Jonna Bo Lammers. VAAF is an illustration duo from Groningen, composed of Lotte Masker and Jonna Bo Lammers. They are illustrators who like to work in turmoil, because chaos leads to creativity. This is why they love to make live illustrations at events, even though they make murals primarily.  They work with paint mainly, hence the name ‘VAAF', which is Gronings dialect for ‘paint'.

VAAF makes murals with detail and story, which one usually does not see at first glance, only at second or third. And this is exactly what makes their murals great; you can enjoy them longer, because there will always be something new to discover.
