Livia Ribichini (born 1994 in Rome) is a multimedia artist, digital body and movement artist, researcher and scenographer.
Livia (she/her) started out making light installations and studying the interactions between the viewer and the physical space. She completed a master's degree in Media, Art, Design and Technology (Frank Mohr Institute, Groningen, 2021).
In her practice she reflects on the diversity of identities between users and avatars in the virtual and physical world. She experiments with sensations, perceptions, new media and technology.
In 2017 she became a founding member of the artistic duo Fulminate focused on light art and in 2020 of fffjpg, a multimedia duo based on electronics, noise and synthesizers.
Some of her clients are the Rewire Festival (NL), the Inter-University Center for Dance Berlin (DE) and the Museo Nazionale Scienza e Tecnologia (IT).
She currently teaches 'Technology and Digital Applications' at the Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia (Sustainable Design).
