Lin-Shi Kok (1998) is an artist from Groningen and a recent graduate of Minerva Academy, where she studied Fine Arts. Alongside her job at the art store Van Beek, she designs posters for Vera and works in her studio on new exhibitions and projects.

She is carving her path in the art world with expressive and colorful creations that often explore themes of connection and comfort. Lin’s favorite medium is textiles, chosen for its soft and comforting qualities. Her characters, playful and humorous, possess a subtle peculiarity. Whether through paintings, prints, fabrics, or ceramics, Lin always strives to draw the viewer into her own vibrant and unique world. Which is often about the search for connection and safety. But if you look closely, you can see through all those colors, joy and expressiveness, that it is not an easy search.
