I am a performance artist-researcher who explores bodies as sites of embodied knowledge production. This exploration takes place in both mental and physical realms. Performance-art-making and arts-based research are two siblings working together in radically transdisciplinary frameworks. 

In performance-making, I use ritual and physically demanding endurance actions. This way, I try to tap into the subtle, occult, and bodily-stored knowledge. 

Arts-based research allows me to translate physical experiences and encounters into forms that are reflected and further activated in transdisciplinary contexts.  

In my view, “knowledge” is an essential part of how we understand the world. We always know ‘some-thing’, but do we really know where and when we got to know what we know? Where does knowledge come from, and who decides which knowledge is valid and not?
