As an artist I mainly make figurative work. I enjoy drawing and painting. I mainly make illustrations, paintings with oil paint and make collages of old books. At the moment I am focusing on making the illustrations for a children's book. The book, Max Mier ontdekt het circus (‘Ant Max discovers the circus’) was published on November 29, 2024.

I teach drawing and art history to the final year classes of havo and vwo. In addition, as a cultural coordinator I organize the cultural activities at school. A job that suits me very well and which I still do with love and passion to this day. In 2023 I finally built my own website www.kunstkever.nl, because I thought it was time to share my art with the world.
