Spatial work, Art in public space

As an interdisciplinary artist working with steel, wood, and plaster, my practice is rooted in material exploration and functionality. I create interactive sculptures that investigate social structures, often drawing from industrial processes and domestic objects. Much of my work is shaped by memories and stories from my past, growing up around workshops, tools, and hands-on making has deeply influenced my approach to materials and construction.

I’m especially drawn to working in public space, where I can engage with people who might never step into a gallery or studio. I value the candid questions and reactions from those who don’t feel connected to the creative sector; it’s a chance to open up a conversation. Familiar objects often become vessels in my work, acting as entry points to draw people closer. Possibly create a little bit of humour at the same time.
