Anne Mensinga (Groningen, 1984) studied art history in Groningen. In addition, she has always kept painting. Because she was looking for more depth in painting, she decided in 2015 to register for the basic training of the Klassieke Academie voor Schilderkunst (Classical Academy of Painting). In 2021 she completed her master's degree under the supervision of Sam Drukker. She graduated with a series of windows with closed curtains. Anne is currently working on this series. Her goal is to say as much as possible with the little information given from the subject.
