Alexei Maridashvili
Alexei Maridashvili (Groningen) began with film in the 1980s, transitioned to digital in 2018 and brings a background in coding and music to everything he shoots.
His work explores themes of solitude, presence, the relationship between people and their surroundings. Working across portraiture, street photography and conceptual projects, he is drawn to moments that reveal the emotional atmosphere beneath everyday life.
