Ron Caspers
About this artwork.
Commissioned by housing association Patrimonium, Ron Caspers, metal designer and blacksmith, designed four luminous sculptures for the square near the Parkhorn complex for senior citizens.
The four 'lanterns' evoke associations with budding flowers. Caspers also made the fifth sculpture on the square: an abstract bird figure, which catches the light in contrast to the four flowers.
This sundial was commissioned by Oving Architects, the designers of Parkhorn.
