Untitled (3 elements)

Marja van Elsberg, Ireen Draaijers

About this artwork.

This piece of art consists of three parts. The first part is a blue plexiglas pointed roof placed on the school building. This pointed shape is reflected in the top of the two other parts of the artwork: the Corten steel “pillars” on the schoolyard.

The pillars are secured with ropes to prevent the work of art from falling over. The concrete foundation and the statues themselves (although made of the weatherproof Corten steel) are damaged and show cracks.

Marja van Elsberg and Ireen Draaijers created the artwork for the Alfa-college.
