The work of art on the pillar of the Groenling flat was made by Hans Geluk. The poem that forms part of the work was written especially for this purpose by former city poet Kasper Peters. The work is interactive; the whole poem can only be read if several people move the sensors at the same time. By forcing this interaction, the artist intends to increase human contact between residents and passers-by. 

Maybe you live in the Groenling
for the map or the view
or to go somewhere in your mind

maybe you like the buzzing
in the hallways, popping in your ears
as the lift plays with gravity

or do you like to extinguish the lights
at the end of the day, when the city
view opens up on yet another love story

or do prefer the end of the year
from the place at heaven's height where you shoot your arrows
up close and personal into the future
