Beyond Time, Tracing Tracks to Tomorrow

From October 20 onwards, the solo exhibition Beyond Time, Tracing Tracks to Tomorrow featuring paintings by Elise Klinkert is on display at the Art Rental of Kunstpunt. In her art, Elise explores a profound connection with the overwhelming nature and its loss due to human actions. People and animals act as time travelers, attempting to evoke a romantic longing for a better world, a life in connection and harmony with each other and the universe. Each painting is the result of a fascinating interplay of commitment and conversations, source research, memories, and fragments of dreams.

The Atelier Collection: Solo Exhibition Beyond Time, Tracing Tracks to Tomorrow includes works from previous series such as 'Beyond Time,' 'Hybrids,' and 'Dream Landscapes.' But you'll also see her most recent work, 'The White House,' marking a turning point in Elise's oeuvre: "It no longer needs to be explained, interpreted, or understood. It can exist exactly as it presents itself," Elise says. The connection, however, persists through Elise's serial approach.

Beyond Time, Tracing Tracks to Tomorrow is on display at Kunstpunt until December 2. Want to linger over the paintings longer? Good news! You can borrow and/or buy them at Kunstpunt.

In the exhibition, also take a look at Elise Klinkert's Choice, where Elise showcases her favorite works from the Art Rental collection.
