Visit the Memory Balcony (Geheugenbalkon) for a great view of Groningen

Groningen's newest work of art, the Memory Balcony (Geheugenbalkon), offers a unique view of the construction work on the southern ring road from today. The 13-metre-high lookout point is made from old parts of the ring road and allows visitors to watch the development of the new ring road and the Zuiderplantsoen. In this way, the past and future of Groningen are summarized in 1 interactive work of art. It is located on the Hereweg at the intersection with the Papiermolenlaan and was developed on behalf of Kunstpunt Groningen, in close collaboration with Combinatie Herepoort.
