Now on view in the Art Rental: Ilse Brul

Ilse creates paintings full of color, movement, transparency, and light. Her work is inspired by walks in nature, on the Wadden coast, and in the Alps. With loose, dynamic compositions and rich use of color, she translates what she observes onto the canvas: “I use all my senses: I see, smell, feel, hear, experience – the rippling of water or the sound of waves, I translate into images.” In the solo exhibition Lichtvloed, you will see paintings from different periods.

The exhibition can be visited from April 16 to May 23 in the Cella exhibition space at Kunstpunt. Alongside her own work, Ilse also presents her favorite pieces from the Art Lending collection in Ilse’s Selection. Find more information here.
