CAN I BORROW MORE THAN ONE WORK AT A TIME?
You can borrow as many pieces of art as you like.
WHAT IS COLLECTION CREDIT AND WHAT CAN I DO WITH IT?
Collection credit is the loan money you have saved (only applies to the subscription form of borrowing with savings). With your collection credit you do not necessarily have to buy the work you have in house, you can also use it to buy another work from our collection. You decide at all times when you want to purchase a specific work.
HOW MUCH COLLECTION CREDIT HAVE I ACCRUED?
Please contact us if you would like to know how much collection credit you have accrued. We do send a reminder every year that you still have a balance with us, so that you do not forget.
HOW DO I PURCHASE A WORK OF ART WITH MY COLLECTION CREDIT?
Would you like to buy a work of art with your collection credit? Please contact us by telephone or email or pay us a visit. Indicate the artwork that you want to buy, and we will convert your collection credit into a purchase. You will receive a proof of purchase. If you do this in person, you won’t have to take the artwork with you.
WILL I BE INFORMED WHEN I HAVE ACCRUED ENOUGH COLLECTION CREDIT TO PURCHASE A WORK ON LOAN?
No, this decision is yours. At all times you decide the specific work you want to purchase and when you want to do so.
CAN MY COLLECTION CREDIT BE REFUNDED?
No, your collection credit cannot be refunded; see also our Terms and Conditions.
CAN I PAY IN INSTALLMENTS IF I WANT TO BUY A WORK OF ART?
When purchasing any of the works, you can use a payment plan of up to 36 installments. This applies to both works in the Art Lending Collection and the Studio Collection.
I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT ART: HOW DO I FIND A WORK THAT SUITS ME?
You do not have to know about art. We are happy to help guide you through the works on loan. It will always be a matter of personal preference. You decide what you would like to see. This allows you to try out what suits you and your budget. And if it is not the right fit, you can change it as often as you like. So feel free to ask us for advice.
CAN I ALSO GIVE A SUBSCRIPTION TO THE ART LIBRARY AS A GIFT?
Yes, you can. We have gift certificates that you can give. The lucky recipient can then come and choose a work at any time. You have already paid for their first month (or first few months).
HOW LONG IS MY GIFT CERTIFICATE VALID FOR?
Gift certificates are valid for 2 years. There is an expiration date on the certificate. There are also old gift certificates in circulation that have no date on them. These are from before April 2015. These certificates have now expired and can no longer be redeemed.
