About this activity.

Welcome to Y2, Damsterdiep 299, on Saturday 26 July at Silophonesession 12, a multidisciplinary jam session, open to participants (musicians, dancers, spoken word artists etc) and audience.
 
The jam session starts in the afternoon at half past three with a performance by spoken word artist Amber Jansen as the opening act. Somewhere between a quarter past four and half past five, the actual jam session starts. This lasts until about half past six.
 
Admission is free but a donation for the opening act is welcome.
 
The Silophonesessions writes about Amber Jansen:
Spoken word artist Amber Jansen weaves words and melodies into a scoundscape. With her voice, she creates a story: sometimes mysterious, sometimes soft or she screams her frustration. An imaginative world unfolds where words and sounds intertwine.

about the Silophone Sessions:

The Silophone Sessions are multidisciplinary improvisation jam sessions for musicians, dancers and spoken word artists, organized by violinist Renske van Donk and improv cellist Charles Belfor. Our goal: to bring together performers of many different styles, perspectives and influences at an artistic playground and to encourage them to interact with each other so that something entirely unique emerges on stage.
