Vrije Inloop
About this activity.
Children from the age of 4-12 years old can participate in the Vrije Inloop at VRIJDAG for one, two or three days during the autumn holidays. Every afternoon there is a different group, different teachers and other workshops to choose from. Music, theater or visual arts: you choose on the spot what you want to do. Join us for an afternoon or come for several days and work with real artists in the studios of VRIJDAG!
Animals in the forest
During the autumn holidays we will work with the theme Animals in the Forest and we will convert the basement of the Walstraat into a large forest together: we will paint trees, look for leaves, paste and build. We also make strange beasts for this forest. To keep them all a bit apart, we are making an Animal Book. Because there are not only common guests, such as a bear and a squirrel, but also mysterious mythical creatures. What would they look like?
And although the forest is sometimes quiet, strange sounds can be heard every now and then. Sounds of birds, for example, but what else do you hear? We will research, create and sample that. Perhaps into a soundscape, in which you record all the sounds of the forest. And then you suddenly see dancing shadows in the back: festive, cheerful and perhaps also a bit scary. Practical
Each afternoon starts with a short introduction and an explanation of the various activities of the day. Halfway there is a joint break with drinks and something tasty. The children can then choose one of the other activities. At 3.30 pm all children present to each other and the parents present what they have made that afternoon. Are you coming for the first time and are you really excited? Please tell us, or call in advance. You can also participate for half a lesson.
Do you have a Stadjerspas?
Children with a Stadjerspas pay 0.50 euros per afternoon. Order your ticket online and use the promotional code STAD to use the discount. We will scan your Stadjerspas upon arrival.
VRIJDAG.
