Artist Collective 'Verkuno' celebrates 25 years!

About this activity.

It has probably not escaped your notice that the united artists in Noordenveld (VERKUNO) have something to celebrate. They have been organizing exhibitions for members and guests for 25 years!

The opening of this Anniversary Exhibition and the AORN weekend were festively busy. Art Center/Kunstencentrum K38 was also part of the always successful Open Atelier Route Noordenveld.

From 15 members, you will find one work from 25 years ago and several new works. Participating Verkuno artists are: Magda Balvers, Jelly van den Bosch, Ans Courtier, Henk van Donk, Marleen van Engelen, Arien de Groot, Maxelant Harmsze, Thea Hoek, Rianne Kooijman, Sonja Leutholff, Inka Markowski, Mariet Schedler, Derek Scholte, Marijtje van der Veen, and Wilhelmina Zoutewelle.

You also get a free ticket in the gallery to win an artwork. Three winners may choose their prize from the draw on June 2.

The book 'From Spark to Flame' is on display and for sale. It provides a look into the artists' studios. Sixteen artists candidly talk about their artistry.

Due to this anniversary, admission is free.

And if you wish, the hostess will treat you to a cup of coffee or tea. But the Art is the most important.

If you haven't been yet, the exhibition 'Verkuno 25 years' is on display until Sunday, June 2.
