Touch Art
About this activity.
Paintings by Teus Ruitenbeek, sculptures by Willemien Renkema and installations bij Dries (Driever) Verbeke.
The works in their exhibition “Touch Art” not only visually stimulate, but also encourage reflection and wonder:
Ruitenbeek's paintings immediately stand out because of their size: they are either monumentally large or strikingly small and intimate. In both cases, they invite the viewer to come closer and immerse themselves in the colors and shapes.
Renkema's sculptures form a powerful expression of emotion. In her spatial works, she translates feelings into form and material, giving each sculpture its own atmosphere and expressive power.
A very different dimension is added by Driever's installations. His detailed assemblages – which he himself describes as Recycle Art – are made from reused materials and found objects. He gives everyday elements a new life and creates surprising works full of small discoveries.
Together, these three artists form an exhibition that invites attention, reflection, and wonder. To pause, to look, and to be surprised by everything there is to see.
