About this activity.
What happens when an artist translates their work into a large format? Alexandra Subota takes on the experiment in The Wall #3, the third edition of The Wall project. Until November 11th, she is working on an artwork spanning almost 200m².
You can follow the development of Alexandra’s work at Kunstpunt; drop by between 12 PM and 5 PM from Wednesday to Saturday.
About Alexandra Subota
Fascinated by the absurdity of daily life, Alexandra Subota creates mixed-media art. In 2021, she completed her Master Fine Arts at the Frank Mohr Institute. Since then, she has exhibited in various locations in Germany and Groningen. Alexandra’s work is characterized by a vibrant palette of bold colors, soft materials, fluff, glitter, and shiny surfaces. With a unique blend of playfulness and irony, she approaches her quest for desires such as pleasure and freedom, realizing that this pursuit inevitably comes with the sobering disappointments of everyday life.

Kunstpunt Groningen (voorheen CBK) is hét knooppunt voor beeldende kunst. Wij lenen kunstwerken uit, begeleiden kunstopdrachten in de openbare ruimte en bij bedrijven, ontwikkelen educatieprojecten voor scholen en organiseren tentoonstellingen en activiteiten.
Kunstpunt Groningen (formerly CBK) is the hub for visual arts. We lend works of art, supervise art assignments in public spaces and at companies, develop educational projects for schools and organize exhibitions and activities.
