About this activity.

The Fruithof is a living open-air museum with more than 800 fruit trees and 550 different historic fruit varieties, it holds the largest collection of heritage fruit in Western Europe. The park-like grounds cover a complex of 8 hectares.

Under the pagoda at the center of the grounds, Maria Berkhout is creating an installation of textile drawings, suspended like banners beneath the structure. Using waterproof ink, she applies enlarged images of decayed leaves, branches, seeds, fruit, and roots to nettle cloth.

Sweet Paradise is open from July 18 through August 31, every weekend from Friday to Sunday, between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
