About this activity.

On Sunday 18 June, the choir festival ZingZing! back to De Oosterpoort; the festival for choirs and singing enthusiasts in Groningen. In De Oosterpoort, the inspiration and encounter festival will be a day full of music, encounters and workshops. 

After the success of the first two editions, this edition of ZingZing! enjoy the performances of no fewer than 25 Groningen choirs. In addition, there are various workshops that attendees can follow. These are given by well-known musicians and coaches, including Panda van Proosij (voice coach and physical awareness), Hans Kaldeway (conductor and composer) and Marijke Meems (choir director and theater maker).

ZingZing! is a day with plenty of room for meeting, inspiration and singing pleasure. Are you coming to sing along, as a spectator or as a choir? Please note: registration for choirs is closed!

VRIJDAG.

Iedereen kan meedoen aan kunst en cultuur. Dat is de missie van VRIJDAG, het huis van de amateurkunst voor Groningen. In de gemeente Groningen biedt VRIJDAG cursussen, lessen en workshops muziek, theater en beeldende kunst. Ook verzorgt VRIJDAG cultureel aanbod in de wijken en in het onderwijs. Via KultuurLoket adviseert en ondersteunt VRIJDAG amateurkunstenaars in de hele provincie Groningen en met POPgroningen stimuleert VRIJDAG popmuziek van Groningse bodem.
