SPOT Groningen organizes a musical morning program every other week on Wednesdays under the title SPOT Coffee Break in De Oosterpoort or Kunstpunt. This edition is provided by Sven Otte and Liesbeth Wildeveld, and will take place in the atrium of Kunstpunt.

Sven Otte was born in Münster and started studying double bass at the age of 17. He studied at the conservatories of Essen and Cologne and attended various masterclasses. In Germany he played with various orchestras. In 1998 he won a prize at an international competition in Edinburgh. In addition to classical music, Sven Otte is also intensively involved in jazz music and improvisation. Until 2019 he was a member of the North Netherlands Orchestra. Nowadays he also works as a violin maker.
Liesbeth Wildeveld studied at the Groningen Conservatory with Akke Ferguson and then with Sylvia Traey in Antwerp. In addition to her teaching practice, she is mainly engaged in chamber music and accompanying soloists and singers. She regularly performs as an accompanist at competitions and festivals. Since 2009 she is a guest lecturer at the Prince Claus Conservatoire.
Since 1998, this duo has been performing together in classical programs. Original music for double bass and piano as well as arrangements of pieces for other instruments are played, because the choice of repertoire for this line-up is not very large. There are few original pieces by great composers. When selecting programs, particular attention is paid to the quality and accessibility of the music. In the search for new repertoire, the duo even ends up in other genres.

Kunstpunt Groningen (voorheen CBK) is hét knooppunt voor beeldende kunst. Wij lenen kunstwerken uit, begeleiden kunstopdrachten in de openbare ruimte en bij bedrijven, ontwikkelen educatieprojecten voor scholen en organiseren tentoonstellingen en activiteiten.
Kunstpunt Groningen (formerly CBK) is the hub for visual arts. We lend works of art, supervise art assignments in public spaces and at companies, develop educational projects for schools and organize exhibitions and activities.
