When we talk, we improvise. Sometimes we find ourselves saying things we question immediately afterwards, sometimes we echo something we heard before, sometimes there is the magic of saying something exactly right. For Tsjisse Talsma & Kalle Wolters, the process of creating works resembles that: where their practice as an illustrator usually is more methodical (a linear process, where you work from an idea, to a sketch to a finished work), in their personal work, they share an approach of working in a more explorative way: one drawing can lead to another, one line responds to the previous and creating is the thought process itself. 

In this edition of SEEN, Tsjisse and Kalle invite you to explore their drawings, paintings, photographs and the conversations that happen between them.
