Attempts To Block C is Klaas Koetje's invitation to anticipate what Block C signifies. Is it a gallery space, a neat white cube for artists to display works of art, or is it a space with an ambiguous history that has been elevated for the time being to serve a different purpose? -  from the exhibition text by Klaudija Ylaite

Kunstruimte Galerie Block C.

Initiatiefnemers Marinus Augustijn en Agnes Scholte organiseren elk jaar 5 solo-exposities. Liefde en enthousiasme voor het werk vormen de belangrijkste selectiecriteria. Elke expositie wordt begeleid door een poster ontworpen en uitgevoerd door Hansje van Halem of Michiel Schuurman. De kunstruimte is gevestigd in het centrum van Groningen in een mooie, stille ruimte aan de achterzijde van een oud ijspakhuis.
