moNU ment 2023

In earlier times, a market and fair were held in the cemetery around the church. To breathe new live into this old custom, we started last year with a smalle market at the church in Vierhuizen. At moNUment, everything revolves around art: making art, exhibiting art en selling is. The special thing is that we use the space around the church and include the old graves and monuments in the art market.

This Year we are goning bigger. On saterday 12 August (in the middle of the tourist season) we organize the second moNUment. Because of the location (close to nature park Lauwersmeer) we expect a lot of interest.

Artist register till Saturday 1 July for a place on the market by sending an email to vierhuizenkerk@gmail.com stating the name and description of the intended activity. You can also use this e-mail address for questions.

moNUment is a collaboration between gallery "de Smederij" and the church Vierhuizen.
