The long awaited Minerva Summer Market will be happening soon!
For the last edition of this academic year we have prepared a packed program for you!
☀︎ TIMETABLE:
• 13.00-19.00 minerva market
• 17.00 live music in the canteen by @toxicmocktail.band
• 18.00 Thursday dinner in the canteen
• 19.00 movie screening in the main hall: “Umjetnik se Traži”
‘Umjetnik se traži’ (2025) delves into the everyday life of two young Croatian artists who, through their art, create their own reality. This documentary film shows their unique paths, creative struggles, the ways they confront the society and the system they live in and how these decisions enable them to find their respective place in the society and the system. What unites this performance artist and an academic painter is the common ideal to encourage societal transformation through their works.
• 19.45 movie screening in the main hall: “Thursday dinner”
Documentary film ‘Thursday dinner’ (2024) explores the most loved phenomena of Academie Minerva - Thursday dinners, end of the year barbecues and Black Burned BBQ Boys.
☀︎ Where? All event will be held in Minerva Art Academy, Gedempte Zuiderdiep 158
☀︎ Why? Here you will be able to find hand-made art (prints, original art, stickers, jewelry), 2nd hand clothes & art supplies and baked goods made by the students of the Minerva Art Academy! It’s the perfect occasion to find unique items and gifts for yourself (and others). In addition, we will host a 2nd hand book market (all proceeds from the sales will go towards @artsenzondergrenzen). There will be live music and movie screenings!
