In Met andere ogen, four artists, art lovers and facilitators of the perception of art join forces. They show paintings, photos, graphics, video and one-minute art and invite visitors to perceive in different ways.

Art is per se ambiguous. It's never what it is, you don't see what you see. There is more than 'I like it' or 'I don't understand'. A work of art needs the viewer to come to life. An explanation, instruction or question has been formulated for each work of art.

Activities
Finissage: Sunday, January 2, 4 p.m.

Presentations: Wednesday 8 and Thursday 16 December, 20:00. The exhibitors give a presentation in combination with observing the art. The presentation has three themes: How do animals look? What do our brains see? and The art of seeing differently. You can register here.

The exhibition and activities are free to enter. We are open from Wednesday to Thursday, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. 

Galerie Noord.

Galerie Noord is een expositieruimte in hartje Groningen. Vierwekelijks bieden we kunstenaars uit het Noorden de mogelijkheid recent werk te tonen, solo of in kleine groepen. Galerie Noord richt zich op autonoom, experimenteel en onderzoekend werk in vrijwel alle disciplines. We willen bezoekers verrassen door tentoonstellingen te bieden met een wisselend karakter. 
 
Galerie Noord wordt volledig gerund door vrijwilligers. In 1997 werd de galerie opgericht als kunstenaarsinitiatief.
