Het Paleis
Het Paleis started in 2009 as a cultural residential and work complex located in a historic building on the Boterdiep. This former chemical laboratory of the university is a hub where artists, designers, entrepreneurs, and culture lovers can meet and inspire each other. Het Paleis houses starter studios, studio spaces for purchase, apartments, flexible workspaces, business spaces for the creative industry, halls, a hotel, and a brasserie.

Op een regenachtige woensdagmiddag met vele kopjes koffie, thee en koekjes viel het woord PaleisCollectief. Het idee is simpel maar krachtig. Waarom zouden kunstenaars in dit Cutuurpand elk voor zich vechten om een plekje aan de muur, als ze samen de hele muur kunnen opeisen?
Samensmelten van stijlen
Het PaleisCollectief is geboren vanuit de overtuiging dat verschillende disciplines elkaar versterken.
In wisselende samenstelling treden de kunstenaars van Het paleis naar buiten als een collectief:een samensmelting van stijlen, visies en materialen.
We komen bij je langs!
Of het nu gaat om een lege industriële hal, een chique galerie, een cultuurcentrum, oude loods, lobby of een bedrijfspand dat vraagt om bezieling: het PaleisCollectief komt van harte langs met een groepsexpositie.
