‘Harmony in Chaos’ at K38

As tradition dictates, Verkuno is once again organizing its annual Salon.
The exhibition opened on December 4. Lilian Dijkema gave a performance, playing the distinctive and highly harmonious handpan.

Following the tradition of the historic Parisian Salons, this year recent work by professional artists from Noordenveld will again be on display in the packed exhibition space of Kunstencentrum K38 in Roden.

Recently joined Verkuno members Diana Large, Ida van der Lee, Inka Markowski, Mathilde Vermeulen, and Aly van der Woude will be making a surprising contribution.

This year’s Salon bears the title ‘Harmony in Chaos’.
The theme is inspired by the chaos in the world, which confronts us both near and far. How do we rediscover the much-needed harmony within ourselves so as not to be overwhelmed by this chaos? Can we achieve this by allowing ourselves moments of silence? Or can contact with nature offer a calming counterbalance? Or does experiencing culture help us maintain hope and confidence? Come and see for yourself by visiting our Salon!

On Thursday, December 18, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, there will be a free-admission Purchase Evening with refreshments. During these hours, a 20% discount applies!

The exhibition runs through January 4, 2026.

Closed on Christmas Day and on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
