Hamish Fulton: Printed Matter

About this activity.

On May 20, Hamish Fulton: Printed Matter will open in ARTisBOOK and Kunstruimte Block C. A unique exhibition in which all 76 artists' books by Hamish Fulton can be seen together for the first time, as well as 250 invitation cards from his hand.

The artist will be present at the opening, and will provide a public walk at 4.40 p.m. entitled The walking participants are also the art observers. Participation in this is free. Mail to info@artisbook.nl to sign up and for more information.

Hamish Fulton (1946) calls himself a “walking artist”: his walks are the art. He shares this experience with the public through typographic texts on the wall, photography, and drawings, but also in artist's books and prints.

Kunstruimte Galerie Block C.

Initiatiefnemers Marinus Augustijn en Agnes Scholte organiseren elk jaar 5 solo-exposities. Liefde en enthousiasme voor het werk vormen de belangrijkste selectiecriteria. Elke expositie wordt begeleid door een poster ontworpen en uitgevoerd door Hansje van Halem of Michiel Schuurman. De kunstruimte is gevestigd in het centrum van Groningen in een mooie, stille ruimte aan de achterzijde van een oud ijspakhuis.
