About this activity.

Thursday July 3, from 3-7 p.m., is the big Guardians of Grunn Closing Party & Fan Art Exhibition!

We hope that in the run-up to and during the Public Art Mont, we have been able to inspire you to pick up your own pen and capture the parallel reality of Grunn in words and images with us. Perhaps you participated in one of the workshops; did you take a guided tour during one of our tours, or did you participate in the writing competition? Or perhaps you simply made a character of your favorite image at home at the kitchen table?

👀 Either way, we want to see your creation!

📣 To conclude the month of Art on the Street, we invite all Groningers to add their character, based on one of the 600 works of art on the street, to the Grunn'iversum for a pop-up exhibition in Kunstpunt. The material you use is up to you: you can draw, paint, sculpt, build with Lego... We do our best to give every public submission a nice place.

On Thursday 3 July we bring everything together:

  • The fan art exhibition;
  • The results of the workshops with Stichting de Vrolijkheid and our collaboration with Noorderpoort Kunst & Multimedia;
  • Announcement of the winner of the Art on the Street Award! (Voting is possible until 20 June 👉 kunstpuntgroningen.nl/cast-your-vote.);
  • Announcement of the winner of the writing competition and nominations of the five best submissions;
  • Workshops;
  • Tasty snacks & drinks;
  • And... an epic playlist!

Kunstpunt Groningen.

Kunstpunt Groningen (voorheen CBK) is hét knooppunt voor beeldende kunst. Wij lenen kunstwerken uit, begeleiden kunstopdrachten in de openbare ruimte en bij bedrijven, ontwikkelen educatieprojecten voor scholen en organiseren tentoonstellingen en activiteiten. 

Kunstpunt Groningen (formerly CBK) is the hub for visual arts. We lend works of art, supervise art assignments in public spaces and at companies, develop educational projects for schools and organize exhibitions and activities.
