About this activity.
‘My work develops out of the desire to experience life as one total system and at the same
time to grasp the essence of the very moment.
I’m fascinated by the structures and processes of growth, blossoming, and transience. In
my work, I compare these natural processes to emotional and psychological ones. It’s a
way to address the relationship between the inside and the outside and to reference the
connection between body and mind. I intuitively express this fascination in an abstract
way, using figurative elements. I work with mixed media on paper, primarily using
watercolor, ink, pencil, and soft pastel. I also occasionally employ printing and collage
techniques. Naturalness is a great source of inspiration for me.
