GRAZZ! jazz from Groningen in Y2 centrum

About this activity.

Friday 7 March, during regular opening hours from three to five o'clock in the afternoon, there will be a performance by Grazz! In Y2 center (entrance at the Nieuwe Markt via Kunstpunt PopUp). Grazz!, a Groningen jazz quartet, brings pure, dynamic and adventurous jazz.

About Grazz!

Grazz! consists of René van Astenrode (drums), George Sopacua (guitar), Hemmo Kieft (tenor saxophone) and Michiel Mens (Hammondorgel). This quartet brings a mix of jazz standards, modern jazz and funky grooves with influences from greats such as Joshua Redman, John Scofield, Jimmy Smith, Horace Silver, Maceo Parker and The Meters.
Their playing pleasure is contagious and together they create a sound that can be both subtle and explosive.
