Graduation exhibition Art & Life

About this activity.

In this graduation exhibition of the Dr. Aletta Jacobs College, we see pieces of work by students who have chosen Art as an exam subject.

The exhibition can be visited on Thursday to Sunday, from 1:30 pm. to 4:30 pm.
The opening with students will take place: May 16 at 4:30 pm.

There is work which was made for the final exam, but also work from the period before. This learning period was indispensible for their goal, the final exam. And their gems made during this period should not be missing from this exhibition.

The exhibition is linked to the graduation theme: 'Art & Life'. All students worked with this theme in their exam year. In doing so, they looked for answers to questions such as: "To what extent does professional practice today differ from that of an artist from the past?" And: "How and why does the life of the artist or the vision on society become visible in his/her work?"
The work that can be seen in the exhibition was made as a result of a choice of several exam assignments.
The students were free to choose materials and techniques. They were encouraged to discover new techniques.
The assessment of the final examination work is carried out by external examiners and by teachers of the Aletta Jacobs College. An exciting moment for everyone involved!

We invite everyone to come and admire the work of these young talents and support them in this important moment of their school career.
