About this activity.

The theme of the group exhibition “Frail | Not Frail” explores the delicate interplay between vulnerability and strength.

How do we as individuals and society navigate this complex web of contradictions? The exhibition exposes the deep-seated tensions in human consciousness: the fear of mortality, the desire for control and the constant search for balance between fragility and resilience.

In addition to the exhibition, the park garden surrounding the building, or the “Artphy forest,” is a great place to look around. In terms of activities, 2 afternoons are scheduled, with music, lecture and performances. You can find more info on the Artphy website!

Stichting Artphy.

Artphy, ruimte voor (levens)kunst in Westerwolde. Artphy is een stichting die zich inzet voor de hedendaagse kunst. We bieden kunstenaars de gelegenheid om in de ruimte (1000m2 en 10 m hoog) en de landschapstuin hun werken te exposeren. Elk seizoen een expositie. Toekomstige ontwikkelingen: artist in residence, bijzondere projecten/opdrachten en samenwerking in de streek.
