Passers-by – Rosa Everts
About this activity.
New work by artist Rosa Everts (1986, Groningen) can be seen in the Tschumi Pavilion. Everts invited passers-by to pose between 5 and 23 September. She then plasters the walls of the glass pavilion with their silhouettes. This resulted in a work that reflects the dynamic environment of the Tschumi Pavilion with all its passers-by. The work is visible 24/7.
About Rosa Everts
Rosa Everts (Groningen, 1986) is a visual artist. In 2009 she graduated from Academy Minerva. Since then she has regularly exhibited in galleries and museums throughout the Netherlands and her work can be found in various (private) collections, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Her work reflects on the human environment and how it changes over time. The work of Rosa Everts is always related to drawing, but can take many different forms: from very detailed colored pencil drawings on paper to large wall drawings or extensive spatial installations, often made of paper.
Art for sale
On the occasion of her installation in the Tschumi Pavilion, two of her works are also for sale in the Studio Collection of the Kunstuitleen, made available by galerie with tsjalling:, the permanent gallery of Everts in Groningen. It concerns the framed works Display 1 and Display 6, made with mixed technique on photo print on paper.
