ELEMENTS OF NATURE: Academy Minerva at UMCG

About this activity.

Nature is the soil, the water, the air and everything on it and in it insofar as it is not produced by humans. Do we live today in a nature-shaped world or a world shaped by the human hand?

In this exhibition, Academy Minerva presents the work of four students from various years of the bachelor's degree programs on natural elements. Each student explores one of the five natural elements using the material as a guideline.

The exhibition is characterized by a variety of materials, from clay to burnt paper and from weeds to textiles. The works reflect
on themes that fascinate the artists from their own practice.
