Over the past four years, Damsma created 366 portraits based on a date linked to the person depicted. This project, carried out in collaboration with his brother Dick Damsma, resulted in a book and calendar showcasing the portraits along with accompanying texts. The project has led to a traveling exhibition that tours throughout the Netherlands, with monthly sub-exhibitions in various provinces.

In October, the exhibition will be on display in Kunstruimte De Smederij, featuring portraits of Che Guevara, Diego Maradona, and Marianne Timmer, among others.
