De Ploeg Buitendag

About this activity.

The Ploeg Buitendag 2025 will be held on Saturday, August 30, at Museum Borg Verhildersum in Leens. The PloegBuitendag always takes place on location, just as the Ploegers did a century ago in the Reitdiep area and at the Blauwbörgje. It is an annual recurring event where the Ploegers work outside, this year in the fields surrounding and/or in Verhildersum itself. The Friends of De Ploeg are invited to participate. The drawings, paintings, and clay sketches created will be viewed and discussed at the end of the day around 3:30 PM.

So, if you want to see artists at work in the wild, come to Museum Borg Verhildersum on Saturday afternoon, August 30th, around 1:00 PM. Of course, our exhibition VRIJ? is also on display, where 15 Ploegers interpret the theme of 80 years of freedom in their own way.Access to the grounds is free, entry to Museum Borg Verhildersum is 8 euros, and the museum annual pass is valid here.

Groninger kunstkring De Ploeg.

Groninger kunstkring De Ploeg bestaat uit 21 kunstenaars. Gezamelijk vormen ze een platform en organiseren ze exposities. In 2024 hebben zij een vaste plek in de Watertoren West, maar ook zijn er exposties te zien in o.a. het Museum Thijnhof en in 2025 in Museum borg Verhildersum.
